A jacket worn in the sci-fi thriller I, Robot. Police Detective Del Spooner (Will Smith) is a cop in Chicago assigned the investigation of Dr Alfred Lanning (James Cromwell), who falls from a balcony under dubious circumstances. His investigation leads to the implication of the robot Sonny (Alan Tudyk), not realising the plot behind is death is far more deadly to the human race.

This style of jacket can be seen being worn by robopsychologist Susan Calvin (Bridget Moynahan), a USR employee who joins in Detective Spooner’s investigation of Dr Lanning’s death. The custom-made jacket is made from faux dark grey leather made to look like crocodile skin with a grey satin lining and a zip up the front. Stitched-in detailing creates a ripple effect running from the neck down. The jacket has distinctive markings that match on screen.
