Two original production used scripts from the short lived eighties animated children's show The Voyages of Dr. Dolittle.
This series is now forgotten to time and very little is available about it online. It was a weekly series, of which 13 episodes were produced, pairing the Doctor with two young apprentices (Tommy Stubbins son of a cobbler and a new character, Maggie Thompson) for round-the-world adventures in naturalism. Tommy learns how to speak to the animals and they set off on a quest to find Long Arrow, the greatest naturalist in the world.
Dr Dollittle himself was voiced by the prolific voice actor John Stephenson, the last surviving cast member of The Flinstones (Mr Slate) and has voiced characters for Top Cat, Scooby Doo, Wacky Races, Banana Splits, and many many more.
They are for Episode 3 - Luke The Hermit and Episode 8 - The Sun God.
They are professionally bound by Fox but interestingly have no writer credit, possibly because the series was originally a co-production with Japanese studio Knack Productions. It was not shown in Japan until 1997.
They are both clean and in excellent condition.
