An original production used first draft script for Barry Levinson's Toys starring Robin Williams, Michael Gambon and Joan Cusack.
The script is dated 20th June 1990 and shows sign of age and use. It not only contains the script itself but also a list of scenes and locations and more interestingly a full list of special effects requirements including the required Toys.
The plot structure is very similar to the final film with a few additional scenes and a lot of additional dialog. It also suggests, as expected, that much of Robin Williams' more verbose monologues were improvised.
The toy company is called Panda and not after the family name Zevo which in this draft is Presswell.
The ending is a little more involved than what we get on screen too.
An interesting insight into what was a 10 year labour of love for Barry Levinson.
