An encrypted enemy telecommunication matrix panel used in the 2001 Russell Crowe and Ed Harris biographical drama A Beautiful Mind. This and others like it were lit up across the wall when asocial mathematician Nash (Crowe) is summoned on a top secret cryptology assignment at the Pentagon by Parcher (Ed Harris) to crack a complex enemy communications encryption. Every single sheet was unique and printed onto a translucent acetate so it could be lit from behind creating the dramatic effect on film, with a black background full of white and grey numbers.
