After learning of the Queen’s evil plan, the Pirate Captain and Charles Darwin sneak aboard the QV1 to rescue poor Polly the dodo and the other endangered animals on board that are intended to be served as part of the Rare Creatures Dining Club for World Leaders. Once removing her skirt to reveal her bloomers, Queen Vic tries everything from sword fighting to stealing an airship in attempt to keep Polly and unsurprisingly, is left looking rather dishevelled!
Queen Victoria displays a tremendous amount of detail, including her crooked crown and intricate lace-trimmed undergarments, all made from silicone. Her head is resin, with a small amount of plasticine around her eyes and eyelids and she features a detachable mouth piece made from ‘Rapid Prototyped’ resin, both which would have been altered throughout filming to create maximum expression. Her unruly hair is made from silicone with a number of flyaway strands featuring internal wiring for realistic movement. Without doubt one of the most memorable scenes in the entire movie.
