  Description:

When strange fuzzy creatures from outer space arrive on a farm, the Brown family -- Jay (Billy Green Bush), Helen (Dee Wallace-Stone), their daughter, April (Nadine Van Der Velde), and their son, Brad (Scott Grimes) -- must fend off the malevolent little aliens. Two bounty hunters with superhuman abilities follow the aggressive beasts from beyond, but the warriors aren't terribly effective, leaving the Brown family to battle the fur balls and rescue April from their clutches all by themselves.

An original Critter used in the first movie. He was made with a hollow pipe inside to use as a "launcher" to crash him through a window.

Made of foam latex and moose fur, features the infamous spines in the back and the eyes become reflective to light sources (very cool). The arms and fingers have metail wires inside to hold the "attack" pose.

24 puppets were made for the first movie, 4 animatronics and 20 for general purposes, no one knows how many survived...

This bad boy has been professionally restored by Tom Spina. More details here.

It has been recently matched thanks to some Chiodo's archive photos. Tha foam latex has shrinked a bit in the last 25 years and some face details has changed since was found damaged and later restored but still retains the characteristic features of the original puppet. The jaw and teeths were made with a harder material so are nearly intact except a missing fang that was later restored and a restored hole that missed a row of teeth that were not added.

All the hand painted gums and teeth details match exactly like in the photos and also do all the air bubble mold defects.
