This is the miner's hero pick axe screen-matched throughout the film. The patterns on the wood handle can positively be matched to many scenes throughout the film. The unique wood grain pattern is clearly seen matched between the screen-shots and the actual photo here.

Also, the back end head of the pick axe broke during filming due to the massive amount of use.
