Zat gun & Jaffa Gauntlet Holster
 

A stunt Zat gun used in the production of the acclaimed sci-fi TV series Stargate SG-1. Used by the Goa’uld and Jaffa for centuries, the Zat’nik’tel – or Zat gun, as Jack O’Neill calls it – is a weapon designed to stun an adversary with a single shot, with a second shot liable to kill, while a third will disintegrate them. Used throughout the series, the Zat was a popular sidearm amongst many within Stargate Command as well as amongst their Goa’uld foes.
Made of rubber for stunt use, this particular Zat has been created in its closed “holstered” position, and locked in position to prevent breakages or excessive damage through use. Covered in ornate Goa’uld designs, the weapon has been finished in a range of purple and blue hues, giving the weapon a truly alien feel. The weapon is accompanied by an original Jaffa bracer with built-in Zat holster, designed to be worn on the wrist of Goa’uld and Jaffa warriors, which is made of rubber and finished in the steel tones of traditional Jaffa armour.

Well used on the production, the Zat gun and holster have suffered some minor wear and paint loss through use but remain in an overall very good production-used condition. The Zat gun measures 26 cm x 6 cm x 16 cm (10.25“ x 2.5“ x 6.5“) unholstered.
