Red Blood Cells
Movie: Inner Space (1987)
Category: Movie Prop

4 Attachment(s)
Ten Silicon Red Blood Cells from Joe Dante's 1987 Sci-Fi Comedy, Innerspace. In the film, Lt. Tuck Pendleton (Dennis Quiad) must guide Jack Putter (Martin Short) to safety after being miniaturized and injected into Putter by mistake. Several red blood cells like these can be seen throughout the film.

Innerspace relied on practical effects supplied by Dennis Muren and his team at ILM. They built a giant artery from tubular sections of translucent urethane inside a plexiglass trough 57 feet long. During photography water laced with these simulated blood cells was pumped through the system along with the pod miniature.

There are ten different silicon cast red blood cells. Six have a darker red hue and the other four have a lighter, pink hue. Although they feature some production wear such as tears and chips, the model cells remain in good, production-used condition.

Rare props from a classic movie.

Comes with a COA from Prop Store.
