Hero Reaver Sword Weapon
 

A sword weapon used in the sci-fi action film Serenity. Pursued by the Alliance and the merciless Operative (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and with everyone they know being killed, Captain Mal Reynolds (Nathan Fillion) and his crew must protect assassination target River Tam (Summer Glau) and confront a dark secret from the Alliance’s past.

This sword and others like it were used by the fear-inducing mutant Reavers in the final battle of the film. The rather menacing blade is made from a single piece of aluminium with rune-like marks along its length and is blunted, with stamped black tape on the grip. The blade has been distressed to look rusted and well worn.

In very good production-used condition, the weapon measures 85cm (33") in length.
