Call Sheet & Script for Deleted Scene
 

This is a small format call sheet with attached script pages for Nancy Meyers Something's Gotta Give starring Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. The scene right at the end of the film in the L.A. restaurant was originally planned as a bookend to a companion piece at the beginning of the film that was shot the same day. It involved Harry imaging his life ending up a couple of different ways with the final scene at the end of the movie being the much preferred reality. It would have appeared right after Harry's voice over at the beginning as can be seen in the script and if run to conclusion would have shown Harry to be less confident of his lifestyle choices way too early in the picture.

Part of this deleted scene featured prominently in the initial trailer for the film.

It has the production title as "Untitled N.M. Project" and some great character names including "Young Slinky Girl" and "63 Year Old Battle Ax".
