Composite Poker Chips
 

A local slot machine supplier, LA Slots, provided the Bally machines seen in the Flamingo robbery flashback scene. After the filming was completed, LA Slots purchased the gambling related props, including chips, molded foam replicas of piles of coins and trays of aluminum discs to represent tokens.

There were two type of the vault chips. The plastic chips are the most common kind and seen in the scenes when the vault is being filled. Only the chips at the front of each rack had the Bellagio sticker.

These are the rarer kind and made up only 10% of the chips. they are made from a heavier composite clay material, supposedly to look and sound more realistic in the post-explosion vault scenes. They also feature a diamond design which is different to the lighter weight plastic chips.
