Original 1st Proof of ALIEN Artwork Heavy Metal Calendar
 

Original proofs for the Heavy Metal 1980 Calendar which featured 5 shots from Alien.

The proofs were done by laying an oversized size B&W negative sheet on photo paper and exposing it.

The prints were probably not set well as the silver halide has started to show.

The silver halide has also discolored the original letter from Heavy Metal to 20th Century Fox.

This is the only copy as it was a proof to verify contractual agreement acceptance.
