This item is a pair of thermographic imaging goggles used in the 2000 Paul Verhoeven invisible-man thriller Hollow Man. The scientists use this type of goggle throughout the film making it possible for them to see the invisible creatures they have created!

This pair of goggles was crafted out of resin and features a double plexi glass lens system, with the top lens colored red and able to flip up like a visor. There are detailed line indentations throughout the top, front and sides, as well as rubber covered wires which wrap around the entire head piece and connect to the four different sized optics on the top corners of the goggle frame. There is a small switch, located near the back top left, that is used to power on the lighted goggles and a microswitch that disables the light once you flip up the red pair. The battery pack is hidden on the rear part of the elastic headband.

There are slight differences on the black tubes coming out from the corner lenses/sensors from one character to another. We can see Kevin Bacon or Josh Brolin characters wearing this specific style while Mary Randle's character has the left tube shorter and inserted into the goggle's frame.

This piece came in a custom black hard case with the label '7 of 8' and 'Hero' across the front, including a replacement set of red lenses.

*Please note this is a special effects piece and does not show thermographic images. :D
